To mark the beginning of their journey as pupil leaders at The Perse, our POP team attended a leadership training workshop on Thursday last week. The training was delivered by Marc Ee, an entrepreneur who has been involved with a wide range of projects, ranging from sustainability in Cambodia to experiential learning in Vietnam.
Pupils embarked on intention setting, thinking about their whys, and unpacked the traits of leaders to help them find their collective identity as pupil leaders. They came up with a list of qualities that started with each letter of the word L.E.A.D.E.R. and proceeded to negotiate and decide on the qualities they want to be associated with most – qualities that they will work towards embodying in their journey as part of POP. With that, our pupil leaders will continue to meet each week as well as attend further training workshops to develop their leadership skills to help them achieve their fullest potential. We can’t wait to see what they do!
