Principal's Welcome Letter
As the Founding Principal, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to The Perse School Singapore. We are a diverse school community, with families from many differing nationalities. Genuinely inclusive, we offer outstanding learning opportunities for pupils from a wide range of academic backgrounds. At the same time, we consistently strive to achieve some of the finest academic results and that our pupils achieve value-added results that reflect outstanding progress.
These successes are a real testament to our teaching faculty, our commitment to ongoing professional learning, and to our whole-school learning culture. The excellent academic heritage embedded in The Perse School Cambridge, has been adapted to meet the international needs of children in Singapore.
We consistently strive to achieve outstanding academic success, whilst committing ourselves to on-going professional learning within a whole school learning culture. We believe in a multisensory approach to teaching and learning and this will inspire and incite your children to do their very best. Our broad and balanced curriculum ensures that our children develop a good understanding of the world while enjoying exciting and inspiring learning opportunities.
Our children thrive on challenges outside the classroom with great emphasis placed on developing breadth and balance through sport, clubs, music, art and drama.
Our holistic approach, in which success is more than just about good grades, defines what we do and is inspired to identify, explore and achieve their personal goals. I am incredibly proud of the high level of pastoral care that we offer all our pupils, care that is coupled with experienced teaching and mentoring and ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their potential.
I am always happy to meet with parents and visitors and greatly value the open-door policy that we have - no query or concern is ever too small.
I look forward to welcoming you to our vibrant school community.
