On 8 January 2020, our pioneer batch of pupils started their day by reading an interesting book on Mount Everest. They then got ready to hike Bukit Timah Hill, just across the road from The Perse School.
The hike uphill was an exhausting one, but the pupils demonstrated amazing resilience and perseverance in their endeavour to arrive at the summit.
Needless to say, all pupils (and teachers) successfully made it to the summit! 😊
Apart from getting a good workout, the pupils also had a great bonding session with their friends and teachers during the hike. It was a great outdoor learning experience for the children and everyone was excited to spot squirrels, monkeys and various insects. They even heard the calls of the Mimic King bird!
