
A Taste of Learning in the Culinarian Lab
There was excitement in the air (and the aroma of fresh herbs) as our students stepped into the Culinarian Lab for a delicious hands-on learning experience.
Aprons on and sleeves rolled up, students prepared their very own pesto pasta from scratch–learning how to combine fresh ingredients, balance flavours, and transform simple components into a dish full of taste and character.
This practical session went beyond cooking. Students also explored elements of cultural appreciation, learned about ingredients from different parts of the world, and developed important life skills, from teamwork to creativity in the kitchen.
At The Perse School Singapore, we believe in blending curiosity, exploration, and real-world experiences. And when learning tastes this good, it is no wonder everyone left the lab smiling (and a little bit full).
