Which curriculum do you follow?
We follow the Cambridge Primary International Curriculum with the addition of Singapore Maths. We have sprinkled a touch of the Perse Cambridge magic with their strong academic heritage.
What foreign language do you offer?
Mandarin.
How much screen time do the students have with the iPads?
We use our iPads to enhance and scaffold our students independent learning. They are not used to substitute pen and paper and can be used as little as once every 2 weeks or 3 times in a week depending on what the students need them for.
Is there a meal plan option?
Parents can choose to bring school lunches in or order from our external lunch supplier, The New Luncher. More information can be found at www.https://thenewluncher.com/en-sg/
What ECA's do you offer?
We offer a wide range of ECA's; mainly internal but these are dependent on number of pupils enrolled. As the school grows, the amount of ECA's will be increased.
Do you have outdoor space for the children?
Yes, the field across the school and in the Nature Reserve. We also have an indoor playground for children to let off steam during break and lunch times.
What is the teacher: student ratio?
Year 1: 1:20 students
Year 2-6: 1:24 students.
At capacity we will be including Teaching Assistants to support the class.
What is the max capacity of the school?
332 pupils.
Are there plans to build a Perse Secondary School?
Yes. We are currently in discussion with The Perse Cambridge who have a very successful Secondary model for us to base our Secondary school on.
Are pupils allowed to borrow books from school?
Pupils are allowed to borrow up to 2 books per week.
Do you offer swimming as part of your curriculum?
Yes, we do.
Where are your teachers from?
We have a mix of international and local teachers.
Do you have ESL support and is it chargeable?
We do offer ESL support. All additional charges are based on a case by case basis, dependent on the needs of the pupil.
